OUR SOLUTIONS
Assessing the past
In the beginning, was the evaluation of current and past employee communication.
In close cooperation with Andreas Buchegger from Screver professional services team, Casino Baden uncovered and highlighted gaps and areas for improvement in former surveys, laying a solid foundation for creating a new, customized survey designed to address the company’s specific challenges.
Engaging stakeholders
To guarantee the success of the updated survey, Stadtcasino Baden and the Screver team collaborated with the company’s leadership, HR team, and communication department.
This joint effort was the forward step. Together we gained an improved understanding of the organization’s particular needs, enabling the teams to create a survey that effectively met those specific demands.
It’s important for us to know that clients really want honest results from the survey that they can put to good use. We’ve definitely felt that here.
Christian Fillinger
CEO at Screver
Revamping the survey: content and design
The employee survey was entirely overhauled by incorporating the following changes:
- questions were made clear and engaging,
- unique animated icons were created,
- a new, attractive and inviting layout was designed.
The casino-inspired icons in the survey were a hit, and these engaging details helped boost the completion rate.
Workshops and testing
In extensive workshops, both teams refined the survey questions and answer choices – creating a tailor-made survey for Stadtcasino Baden’s specific needs.
The survey was tested and again adapted with select employees before it was launched company-wide.
Smooth implementation. Anonymity guaranteed!
These steps led to the seamless implementation of a new survey:
- A town hall presentation introducing the revamped survey, with Christian, CEO of Screver, and Andreas, Head of Professional Services.
- Pre-announcing the survey launch – to build anticipation among employees.
- Sending out personalized email invitations to employees to participate in the survey.
- Posting survey reminders on the company intranet to encourage participation.
As an external party, we can guarantee anonymity for all participants. Screver does not pass on the IP addresses or names of survey participants. However, we will compile the results and provide them to the client. If desired, we can also help to consider measures when certain aspects need to be addressed.”
Andreas Buchegger
Head of Professional Services at Screver
The email was sent to 350 employees using their corporate email addresses. To protect anonymity, we avoided using employees’ names or personal information in the communication.
The collaborative effort between Stadtcasino Baden and Screver professional services team culminated in successfully creating and implementing a modern, engaging, and effective employee survey addressing the company’s specific challenges and requirements.

RESULTS
Strengthened employee trust
The transparent and engaging approach of the new survey builds trust between the employees and the management. The Employees felt heard and valued, which led to a stronger sense of belonging and commitment to the organization.
First, this certainly won’t be the last time we seek feedback from the various teams. Second, such feedback only makes sense if the results are taken seriously and actions are initiated when needed.

Enhanced participation and completion rates
There were substantial improvements in the employee engagement:
- A notable increase in participation rate to 59%, up by 14% from the previous survey.
- A remarkable completion rate of 97%, indicating high employee satisfaction with the new survey format.
Valuable insights and actionable data
The revamped survey gave Stadtcasino Baden crucial insights into employees’ experiences, needs, and concerns. The rich data collected allowed the company to:
- Identify key areas for improvement.
- Develop targeted strategies to address employee pain points.
- Foster a more inclusive, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
Making data analysis easier! A manual on how to configure additional filter elements in Pivot analysis was created for the project.
Continuous improvement and expansion
Buoyed by the success of the initial implementation, Stadtcasino Baden decided to:
- Increase the frequency of employee surveys to monitor progress and gather ongoing feedback.
- Implement the survey across all the companies under the Stadtcasino Baden umbrella.
- Explore additional features of the Screver platform for further enhancements, such as onboarding and exit surveys and customer satisfaction surveys.
Of course, we have the idea to continue this project. A survey initially provides us with a snapshot. Especially in areas where improvements are needed, we want to be able to track progress over time.

LET’S TALK
Your biggest challenge during the project?
I think the challenge was more about asking the right questions and timing the survey appropriately. We had a very short timeframe for this project, which made it quite sporty.
I completely agree with Jannine. Asking the right questions and timing the survey appropriately is always a challenge, especially in a short timeframes. But I think our joint effort with Stadtcasino Baden really paid off in the end.
What were the success factors?
Working together, making it personal, and paying attention to the details. We teamed up with Screver to create a survey that really spoke to our employees and their unique needs. We even added some fun and interactive elements to make sure they were engaged and excited to participate.
Another success factor was fine-tuning process we had in place. By testing the survey with a selected group of employees, we were able to gather feedback and make any necessary adjustments before the official rollout. This allowed us to create a survey that truly addressed the needs and concerns of our employees.
What impressed you the most?
The level of engagement and participation we saw from our employees. It was clear that they valued the survey and were eager to provide their feedback. Seeing the increased completion rates was a real win for us.
Absolutely, it was really impressive to see how engaged the employees were with the survey. But what really stood out to me was the dedication of the leadership team at Stadtcasino Baden, particularly Jannine. They were so committed to create a positive work environment and drive the cultural change. It was really inspiring to work together😌
